Besides being the most famous platform for buying and selling sport NFTs, Sorare also allows users to participate with their cards in a real soccer fantasy game, called SO5. After seeing how to register on Sorare, we explain in this article how to play Sorare.
Thanks to the collected cards, the user will be able to register for the tournaments organized during the Gameweek. Gameweeks are held twice a week (from Friday noon to Tuesday noon and from Tuesday noon to Friday noon). In total, about 30 tournaments are open. In addition, the criteria for participation (geography + scarcity of cards) vary from tournament to tournament.
To participate, you must line up cards that meet the entry requirements for each competition. For example, in Division 4 America, it is not possible to line up the Rare card of a player playing in Europe. Similarly, it is not possible to field an MLS player in the European Champion.

Sorare Registrations are free
Tournaments are held twice a week: from Friday Tuesday to Tuesday noon and from Tuesday noon to Friday noon. Therefore, it is essential to validate your teams before Tuesday noon and Friday noon. In order not to forget, we advise you to make your teams the day before. If some of your players do not enter a team because of the choices to be made, we recommend that you integrate them into the "Training". This is how they will gain experience (XP).

How many cards to validate your participation in a tournament ?
To validate your participation in a tournament, you will have to align 5 Sorare cards that meet the criteria of the tournament:

an "extra" (defender, midfielder or striker)
Be careful to check that your player has a match (or is not injured or suspended) before registering him in a team. Playing well at Sorare is also and above all being well informed!

Sorare: The Global Leagues
Casual League (playable with free cards) : the league for beginners (common cards only)
Global All Star : This league is composed of 5 divisions (from D1 to D5). Eligibility: All players.
Global U23: As the name suggests, this league is for young players and consists of 5 divisions (from D1 to D5). You will be able to field only players 23 years old or younger.
Sorare: Regional Leagues
Champion Europe: League composed of 5 divisions. Eligibility: all cards of players from the 5 major leagues (Ligue 1, Premier League, Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga)
Challenger Europe: League consisting of 5 divisions. Eligibility: all cards of players playing in Europe outside the 5 major leagues (Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland...)
Champion America: League composed of 5 divisions. Eligibility: all cards of players playing in the American continent (MLS, Mexican league, Argentinean league etc.)
Champion Asia: League composed of 5 divisions. Eligibility: all cards of players who play in the Asian continent (J-League, K-League, Super League).
Sorare: Bonus
Weekly: Single league. The criteria for the selection of the cards change every week. Let's take the case of last week. It was possible to line up only players with an average score below 40 in the last 5 games!
Training : As the name suggests, this is a training league. Don't hesitate to involve the players that you haven't selected in your teams. They will gain experience and will see their bonus increase.
